Forest Adventures

return to Aki's homepage

As the days of summer began to wind down we took a couple more trips to the forest.

Aki took Alder out to his secret spot in the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest for mushroom gathering. Both crashed on a bed of moss.

Grandma Yamzazki came for a visit in late September so Aki took her out to see the Hoh Rainforest Trail in Olympic National Park.

Aki takes a break on a log.

While on the trail we came across a big bull elk. Aki watches intently.

A closer view of the elk.

We spent the evening at La Push and Aki took Grandma out for a walk on the beach.

Note to Readers: As Aki's second birthday approaches and he heads off for some time in Japan we will be switching to a new blog format. Check Aki's Blog for future updates. You can bookmark it or subscribe to the RSS feed.
